Our smashed beans with kawakawa-kumera silk is not just a pretty plate.

When you dig a little deeper you’ll find a several different varieties of beans sautéed and smashed for texture and taste, on a substantial base of sourdough, contrasted with a luminous swirl of native kawakawa and kumera silk. Add a bit of feta for some culture and a sprinkling of seeds and fresh herbs … and it’s love at first sight.
